“My doctor told me to watch sodium. The app told me exactly which cereal was safe and which one would spike my blood pressure. At the store. In real time.”

The Challenge
Patients managing chronic conditions like high blood pressure or kidney disease get a list of dietary restrictions from their doctor. Then they stand in a grocery aisle staring at nutrition labels in 6-point font, trying to remember whether 340mg of sodium per serving is too much for their specific condition. Age, weight, and other health factors all matter. One size does not fit all. The mental load of cross-referencing every product against personal limits is exhausting.
What We Built
We built an app that does the cross-referencing in two seconds. Users create a health profile with their conditions, age, and weight. The app builds a personal filter. At the grocery store, they scan any barcode. The recommendation engine pulls the nutritional data, runs it through their profile, and returns a clear verdict: green for safe, yellow for moderation, red for avoid. When the answer is red, the app suggests alternatives from the same product category.
