The Challenge
Many small business owners and individuals lack the negotiation skills or emotional distance to handle disputes effectively. They need someone who can step in, stay calm, and argue their case professionally. Existing platforms offer general consulting, but nobody was providing on-call representation for live discussions. Hiring a lawyer for a supplier dispute over a few hundred dollars makes no economic sense. The gap between 'I need help' and 'affordable professional help' was wide open.
What We Built
We built a marketplace where users hire advocates to represent them in real-time. Think of it as Uber for negotiation. Users describe their dispute, get matched with an advocate who has relevant experience, and schedule a three-way call with the opposing party. The advocate leads the discussion. Stripe handles the payment with a transparent 20% service fee. Advocates build profiles based on their specialties: contract disputes, customer complaints, vendor negotiations.
